TK Valet Service, LLC was created by childhood friends Kevin Haney and Tri Vuong, who met playing soccer and have known each other for over 20 years. After spending years valeting together, the two began talking about starting a new company that would challenge the negative perception of the traditional valet. Possessing the necessary knowledge and skills, the friends set out to put together a plan and set it in motion. They rolled up their sleeves, and with some time and dedication, TK Valet was born. We realized that there were some major issues that have led to the valet industry getting a bad reputation, but we believe that we have the ability to change that. Kevin Haney, a Texas Native, grew up in Garland; His father, who was a small business owner, taught him the values of hard work, honesty, and loyalty, he has carried with him and applied to his professional life. Kevin's outgoing personality and ability to build relationships led him to a career in sales and customer service. Growing up his family used to joke that he never met a stranger, this has held true to his adult years. Kevin brings with him over 12 years of sales, customer service and management experience. It all started in the detail department at a car dealership, where through hard work and dedication he moved on to become head of the department. From there his natural ability with conversation and interest in people lead him to sales at that same dealership, where at the age of 18, he went on to become the top salesperson after only his second month. Kevin has been hooked ever since, and this has led to a long and successful career, which has allowed him to develop the skills that he brings to the table at the valet company. Six years ago Kevin started working at a valet company as a second job with his childhood friend, now business partner, Tri, where they made an excellent team. His eye for efficiency and organization, along with his people and customer service skills allowed him to be promoted into management after only 6 months on the job.
Tri Vuong is a Texas native, born and raised in Garland, to parents who immigrated here from Vietnam. His parents arrived here in the late 70's, without knowing the language, or anyone here in Texas. They were hard working, persistent, and innovative in overcoming the many obstacles that come with starting a life in a new country. When they began to prosper, and started a family, they worked hard to pass along these traits along to their children, along with the belief in perseverance in the face of adversity. All of these things have played a role in the success Tri has seen in his professional life. Tri began his working life in sales, where his skill with organization and outgoing personality led him to a very successful career. After many years in the sales industry he decided to take the knowledge, skill and the values instilled in him as a child by his parents, and set out to start a business of his own. After discussing the with a few close friends, who were small business owners themselves, he decided on opening a photo booth & wedding services company, which is still thriving today.
